Islamabad (Cliff News)To select Pakistan Davis Cup team to play Davis Cup tie against Iran in Feb 2017, the trials have commenced at S. Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex Islamabad,Seven players namely, Muhammad Abid Mushtaq, Yasir Khan, Heera Ashiq, Abid Ali Akbar, Mudasir Murtaza, Muzamil Murtaza and Ahmed Chohdri are taking part in the first phase of trials, which will continue till seven days. Second phase to select two members for the team would be held in the second half of January.Aqeel Khan & Aisamul haq are exempted from trials.Rashid Malik is named as the non-playing captain of the team.
