Karachi (Cliff News) Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) started the new batches of BDS in Dow Dental College (DDC) and Dow International Dental College (DIDC). An Orientation Session was held at their institutes respectively to give an introduction and brief overview of the curriculum and teaching methodology to the new entrants.Prof. Masood Hameed Khan, Founding Vice Chancellor, DUHS in his address welcomed the student’s of new batch. He informed the students about the establishment of large number of high standards educational and research institutes to facilitate students. During his address, he emphasized the students to respect their parent and teachers because they are the one who sacrifice a lot and also delighted to see their children and students excel from them. He also reminded the students about the responsibility on their shoulders to serve human beings and to facilitate them with a good health. Furthermore, he also stressed to contribute positively to the betterment of the motherland.Later on, Dr. Asher Afaq, Principal, DIDC and Dr. Arshad Hussain, Principal, DDC gave a brief introduction of faculty, curriculum and rules and regulations to the new entrants.The Orientation Session was attended by the senior faculty members besides new postgraduate students.
