(KarachiCliffNews): Sindh Mass Transit Authority will carry out as all types of mass transit, including rail and road-based mass transit facilities, circular railway and bus rapid transit system. This was stated by Sindh Minister for Transport and mass transit Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while speaking as chief guest in the 9th Seminar on “Importance of ISO Standards” on occasion of 3rd CS-Awards in commemoration of World Standards Day 2016, jointly organized by The Consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP) and Consumer Voice Pakistan (CVP) with the support of IPO Pakistan Ministry of Commerce Government of Pakistan and Sindh Ministry of Transport and Mass Transit. The Sindh minister said that authority will develop systems and enforce regulations to ensure safe, easy and durable mass transit in Sindh It will also supervise routes, services, fares of the metro buses. He assured that all the projects of Mass Transit systems will meet the safety and quality standards. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah praises organizers and congratulated winners of CS-Awardees. Chairman TCEP Umar Ghauri in his welcome Address showed his concern for freely sale of sub-standard, counterfeit products in the markets because of criminally negligent of concern authorities such as PSQCA. Engr. M A Jabbar former Vice President FPCCI and BOD Member Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), asked PSQCA to come forward and play its active role against substandard Products flooded in the market. CVP President Rasim Khan said that PSQCA is failed to stop sale of substandard products in the country. Syed Nasrullah Deputy Director Intellectual Property Organisation Pakistan (IPO) presented IPO presentation and described briefly about intellectual property rights and their importance.
