Hyderabad(Cliff News)Ilead organized Sports Event 2016 in Hyderabad started at Government Degree College Latifabad No. 6 Hyderabad, Ileada (inspiring leadership, empowerment and development in youth) is a public private partnership project between the Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh and Habib University Foundation (HUF). Its head to the project Syed Fahim Bukhari inaugurated the said tournament. “Ilead aims at involving young minds and bodies in healthy activities and therefore the team constantly strives for arranging events and tournaments. Ilead sports event 2016 was also one of such many efforts, which included badminton and table tennis tournaments for boys”. He said.Earlier meeting was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Amir Siddiqui and draws committee which is consist of Pervez Ahmed Shaikh (Vice Chairman), Syed Nawaz, Mohiuddin Shaikh, Zaheer Uddin (Members) to decide the pools and matches by lots in the presence of Manager and Coaches of all participating teams. In table tennis opener Government Boys DegreeCollege beat Noor Muhammad High School Hyderabad by 3-0, winning team’s Saadat Ali, Mansoor Nazir & Zohaib Ali beat opponent’s, Ibrahim, Shahbaz and Usman by 3-0 in other matches Bahria Foundation beat Govt. Comprehensive Higher Secondary School by 3-0, winning team’s Arshad Bilal and Saad beat Hammad, Daniyal and Daniyal Khan. In other match Raza Memorial High School beat IqraSchool by 3-0 winning team’s Fahad Abbas & Sufyan beat Bilal Shoaib and Bilal Liaquat. In semi final Bahria Foundation beat Government Boys Degree College Kotri and Raza Memorial High School beat Government Degree College Latifabad by 3-0 and qualify for final.In badminton first semi final Government Boys Degree College Kotri, beat Government Boys Degree College Latifabad by 3-0 winning team’s Mansoor Nazir beat Osama Shah in single while Imam Ali and Mansoor Nazir beat Muntaha and Haroon by 2-0 in doubles, in second semi final Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School Latifabad beat Noor Muhammad High School Latifabad by 3-0 winning team’s Abdul Jabbar beat Partab in single while in doubles Abbas and Naveed beat Zubair and Farooq by 2-0. Matches supervised by Pervez Ahmed Shaikh, Syed Nawaz, Mohiuddin Shaikh, Zaheer Uddin, Sarfaraz Ahmed Channar, Nazim Abbasi and Imran Mubarak.Earlier in badminton opener Government Degree College Latifabad beat Bahria Foundation by 2-0, in other match Government Boys Degree College Kotri beat Iqra School and Noor Muhammad High School beat Raza Memorial High School by 2-0.
