Hyderabad Youth Empowering Spaces Organized Female Youth Conference

Hyderabad (Cliff News)Hyderabad Youth empowering Spaces (YES) organized Female youth Conference at Shah Latif government Degree Girls College Latifabad 6, Hyderabad, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Yes is a Collaborative project of sport and youth affairs Department, Government of sindh, and Habib University Foundation (H.U.F).250 female students attended the conference and its aim was to equip females with information and tools which could lead towards personal and professional empowerment.Prof. Dr . Mirza Imam Ali Baig – Director College Education Hyderabad attended the event as Chief Guest. He applauded the efforts of YES in empowering young women and urged them to not only gain education, but also to develop skills. The other honorable guests who attended the event included Professor Shahida Perveen Abro – Additional Director, Inspection directorate of College Hyderabad, Professor Yasmeen latif – principle Government shah latif Girls College, Waseem Baig Mughal – Assistant Shah Latif college, and Miss Shahida SHaikh – sports Officer B.I.S.E Hyderabad.The conference also included a panel discussion titled ‘Empowering women is important to develop better society” in which the panelist Faheem Bukhari – Head projects Habib university Foundation, Anum Laghari – CEO IHELP, Moona shah – Assistance Manager at Gexton, and Zufishan Kamal – Assistance Professor Shah Latif College Education facilitated 250 female students. The conference also hosted a parallel workshop on “Women Empowerment through Skills Development” which was conducted by Samad Abbas – Program Officer YES.This Female Youth Conference will Help young women understand their innate potential, their role in the development of better society, and the significance of skill development for their personal and professional growth.YES project is aimed at facilitating Pakistani Youth to empower themselves, take charge of their lives and contribute proactively in creating a healthy society through organizing seminars, workshops, discussions, and debates to raise consciousness among Youth.
