Karachi(Cliff News)Habib Girls School won the both titles of Karachi Girls Netball Cup 2016 which was held at City School PAF Chapter Karachi, organised by Pakistan Netball Federation and Sindh Netball Association with collaboration of City School PAF Chapter.
Under -17 Category:
Final Match was played between Habib Girls School and The City School PAF Chapter, the match was equal by 6-6- goals and extra time of three times were given after that Habib School scored one more goal and won the Title of Karachi Girls Netball Cup 2016. 3rd Position Match was played between City School Darakshan Campus and Mama Parsi School. City Darakshan won the match by 4-3 goals and secured the 3rd Position.
Final placing:
1st Position: Habib Girls School
2nd Position: City School PAF Chapter
3rd Position: City School Darakshan
Under -19 Category:
Final Match was played between Habib Girls College and The City School PAF Chapter A-Level, Habib School won the match 10-7 goals and secured the 1st Position 3rd Position Match was played between Nixor College and City School Gulshan. Nixor College won the match by 3-2 goals and secured the 3rd Position.
Final placing:
1st Position: Habib Girls College
2nd Position: City School PAF Chapter A-Level
3rd Position: Nixor College
The Technical officials namely khalid parviaz, anwar ahmed, yasir javed, ejaz ul haque, samad masood, shazia yousaf, adnan ghori, kashia butt, laila, nayab razia, sakina Modi, Ayesha Asif have supervised the matches.Mr.Raeesuddin Pracha, President, Sindh Netball Association was the Chief Guest on closing ceremony and distributed the trophies, certificates and prizes among the players and teams. On this occasion Mr. Simon Glasson, Principal, City School PAF Chapter, Mudassar Arain, President, Pakistan Netball Federation, Ajaz ul Haque, Secretary, Sindh Netball Association, Mr. Intisar Haider Sports Coordinator, City School Southern Region and Muhammad Riaz Sports Coordinator PAF Chapter were also present. Pakistan Netball Federation also award the trophies to following girls players for “ALL STAR PLAYERS” and also invited for National Junior Netball Champ.
