Karachi(Cliff News)Great musician and Mastro Ustaad Gulab Khan after spending many days of illness in hospital ended up in natural death today morning. Ustaad Gulab Khan was a renowned artist master in dholak and tabla, have played with many legendary musicians of Pakistan like Abida Parveen, Mehdi Hassan Khan Sahab, Chotay Ghulam Ali, Ustaad Salamat and many other famous musicians of Pakistan.He devoted his entire life for music. He died at the age of 90 and in his last 10 years he was teaching in NAPA. His last wish was to get a life time achievement award and for that he wrote many letters to the Governor Sindh and cultural ministry but no one took notice about his efforts. He also wanted to perform Hajj but due to poor financial conditions he couldn’t make it and died with all his broken dreams.His Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 22 after Namaz-e-Zuhr at Hilali Masjid, Pakistan Oil Mill, Liaquat colony, Hyderabad.
