Chief Executive TDAP meets Iran Minister of Industry

Karachi(Cliff News)Chief Executive TDAP meets with Mr. Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the meeting Mr. Khosrotaj,Head of Iran Trade Promotion Organization was also present. Both sides discussed matters of trade and business opportunities. Chief Executive informed that government has already started working on opening of banking channels as it is major demand of trade on both sides. He also emphasized on the need of removing technical barriers to trade (TBTs) as it is giving uneven benefits to our competitors.  He also informed that Pakistan will actively participate in any trade related exhibitions at Iran. He further emphasized that linkage at institution level needs to be increased for better cooperation in all fields of trade. The both sides discussed on potential products which can be exported & imported between two countries to increase the trade volume which is not so encouraging.Chief Executive TDAP also hold meeting with Mr. PedramSoltani- VP Iran Chamber of Commerce & Industry. In the meeting, both parties discussed the ways to increase the bilateral trade between Iran & Pakistan using the FTA in practice, expanding the number of free zones in both countries. They also discussed to exchange trade delegations for exploration trade between the both countries. Chief Executive TDAP offered all possible support in arranging Single Country Exhibitions at Karachi- Pakistan.

A 19 member high power delegation led by Chief Executive himself is visiting Iran from 21st to 25th August, 2016. Delegates from Textile, Leather, Rice, other Agro products, Gems & Jewelry, Tents & Canvas, Surgical instruments sector are part of the delegation.
