Karachi(Staff Reporter) The chairman Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) Shahayar Khan appreciated the Pakistan disabled cricket association (PDCA) efforts and idea of launching disabled cricket Asia Cup or international series in Pakistan and stated that it would attract foreign players and thus end the drought of international cricket in the country.The PDCA is planning to launch the Asia cup with the full sport of PCB and wants the Twenty-20 competition to show the world that the country is safe for cricket. Amir Uddin Ansari the Hon’ Secretary PDCA praised PCB efforts to bring back international cricket to Pakistan and said the Asia Cup would help Disabled players to improve their skills playing along with others international teams. “I am optimistic that some others teams will come in the in Pakistan “When PDCA was organized the first international series with Afghanistan disabled team after that the others teams have expressed their willingness to play in the tournament, however more confirmations are expected. Amir Uddin Ansari added that the PDCA is very thankful to Chairman PCB Shaharyar M. Khan, Chairman Executive Committee Mr. Najam Sethi and Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad for giving the full support and Rs: Five Lac to Pakistan disabled team winner of ICC PD cricket tournament and honoured a reception for team, Sr. GM Domestic Shafiq Ahmed. Head Coach Sabih Azhar, Assistant Coach Muhammad Javed, Team Doctor Noman Palekar, Video Analyst Shakir Khilji and Media Manager Muhammad Nizam were also present on the occasion.
