(KarachiCliffNews): Being organized by KARACHI HOCKEY ASSOCIATION and with the support of AO Clinic, Karachi Hockey Champions Trophy is starting from Tuesday the 15th November 2016. Those teams which were reached in the quarter finals of the recently held Inter Club District Hockey Tournament are participating in this tournament. It is to be noted that Beecham Hockey Club, Hanif Khan XI, Rauf XI, PWD, Jan Muhammad XI, Al Faisal Hockey Club, National Hockey Club, and Iftikhar Syed Hockey XI were the Quarter Finalists. Since ban on Hanif Khan XI , Al Saghir XI has been included in its palce. All the teams are divided into two groups, Al Faisal Hockey Club, Rauf XI, PWD, and Iftikhar Syed XI are kept in Group ‘A’, while Group is comprised of Beecham Hockey Club, Jan Muhammad XI, Al Saghir XI, and National Hockey Club. Secretaries of the Participating teams are advised to contact tournament director Gulfaraz Ahmed Khan. After the completion of group matches, top team of the groups will face each other in the final.
