Karachi Kings opened the innings with Skipper ArifHabib and Philips Dias. They put an opening wicket partnership of 73 runs before scoring 175 runs for the loss of only 2 wickets in the allotted 20overs.Mehmood Rasheed younger brother of former Test player HaroonRasheed played an entertaining innings of 54 n.o. in only 32 balls with 1 six and4 fours.Philips Dias scored 42 runs in 35 balls with 3 fours, Col (Rtd) Billah Scored 37 n.o. in 23 balls with 3 fours and ArifHabib was unfortunately run out on 25runs. Abid Bukhari took 1 Wicket for 26 runs.Batting second Karachi Gymkhana could not keep pace with the required run rateof Karachi Kings and could only score 112 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in theallotted 20 overs.Dr.Anjum Fazal was retired hurt on 42 runs in 55balls.Dr.Mumtaz Khan and SaleemParekh scored 22 and 14 respectively.
