Karachi(Cliff News)Pakistani players found the going very tough on day two of the World Youth Scrabble Championship being played in France.Pakistan’s ace  Abdullah Abbasi had a disastrous start to the day losing 5 matches in a row, something that has never happened to him before. Abdullah did recover to win the next 5 matches to climb to the 15th position at the end of the day.Ali Rashid Khan had an impressive day winning 8 out of 10 matches and climbed to the 4th position after round 17. However, he finished on 7th position at the end of day 2. He is on top among his teammates at the moment.Sanchit Kapoor of UAE is currently leading the tournament with 15 wins, followed by Aabid Ismail of Sri Lanka and the 2014 world youth champion Jack Durand of England.As the top Pakistani players faltered the young starlets stepped up to hold the green flag aloft.9 year old Saim Usmani is currently leading the pack in the under-10 age category and seems to be in a commanding position to win the world champion title in this age category.Hasham Hadi has a comfortable lead in the under-12 age category while compatriot Imaad Ali is next.Ali Rashid Khan is topping the board in the under-14 age category.That means Pakistan still has a great chance of winning three world champion titles.There were further good news for Pakistan from the side tournaments for adults as the top 3 positions were acquired by Pakistani playersPakistan’s No. 1 Waseem Khatri won the tournament with 13 wins.  Moiz Baig also won 13 matches but finished 2nd due to a lower spread. Muhammad Inayatullah took the 3rd position
