In 2004, Chairman Businessmen Group & Former President KCCI Mr. Siraj Kassam Teli came up with a brilliant idea of organizing My Karachi Exhibition to promote the positive image of Karachi and counter all the negative propaganda by western media. With the passage of time, ‘My Karachi’ has become a well-known brand name and an icon of success for KCCI which depicts the determination, courage and entrepreneurial zeal of the people of Karachi. The exhibition is also attended by numerous countries including Russia, Turkey, Philippines, Switzerland, Indonesia, India, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Mauritius etc. who have been participating in this event from time to time. I am delighted to mention that this year, KCCI has once again acquired all six halls of Karachi Expo Centre wherein we plan to stage this glittering event in a magnificent manner.
