Karachi(Cliff News)Karachi Girls Netball Cup 2016 started on today at City School PAF Chapter, Karachi organised by Sindh Netball Association and Pakistan Netball Federation with collaboration of City School PAF Chapter,Karachi. Mr.Simon Glasson, Principal, City School PAF Chapter was the Chief Guest in opening ceremony and declared the championship open in very colourful atmosphere. Mudassar Arain, President, Pakistan Netball Federation, Ajaz ul HAque, Secretary, Sindh Netball Association and Mr. Intisar Haider Sports Coordinator, City School Southern Region and Muhammad Riaz Sports Coordinator PAF Chapter were also present on this occasion.The opening match was played between Habib Girls School and Mama Parsi School (Blue). Habib school won the match by 8-3 goals in U-17 category.

1. Mama Parsi (Blue) beat Wali Asar by 10-0 goals
2. City School Darakshan beat Habib School (jr) by 7-3 goals
3. CJM (Red) beat City School Gulishtan-e-Joahar by 7-1 goals
4. Mama Parsi (Red) beat CAA Airport no.3 School by 8-0 goals
5. St. Joseph Girls School beat Army Public School by 6-0 goals
6. CJM (Blue) beat City PAF (White) by 4-1 goals

The City School PAF, Mama Parsi School, Habib Girls School and City School Darakshan have Qualify for Semi Finals which will be played on tomorrow.
1st Semi Final will be played between City School PAF and Mama Parsi School
2nd Semi Final will be played between Habib Girls School and City School Darakshan
Under -19 Category:
1. Nixor College beat Army Public College by 3-0 goals
2. 1st Semi Final: Habib Girls College beat City School Gulshan A- Level by 15-2 goals
3. 2nd Semi Final: City School PAF beat Nixor College by 6-1 goals
The Final Match of U-19 category will be played between City School A-Level PAF and Habib Girls College team on tomorrow.
The Technical officials namely khalid parviaz, anwar ahmed, yasir javed, ejaz ul haque, samad masood, shazia yousaf, adnan ghori, kashia butt, laila, nayab razia, sakina, Ayesha Asif have supervised the matches. Mr. Raeesuddin Parach, President, Sindh Netball Association was the Chief Guest in Closing ceremony and distribute the trophies, certificates and prizes among the players and teams
